Interpretation of client brief- requirements:

Possible ideas following my interpretation:

- For one of my ideas I could look at specific/ popular music venues in north London and expand on showing the audience why they should visit this venue and what advantages it has had for artists that have played there (including interviews). My magazine will be focussed on venues with big followings. 

- For another idea I could look at different artists within North London and their genre and how they survive in the music industry within North London. How famous artists have influenced new artists within North London. My magazine will be focussed on different artists from different genres. 

- For my last idea I could look at a specific genre in North London and how their music influences the area based on one specific genre focussing on one artist devoted to that genre. My magazine will be focussed on a specific genre.

Conclusion 

To conclude, I have decided to base my magazine based on genre which will be Pop. I have chosen this idea as I feel it will fit the brief the best and see it as the most interesting and complex to do in order to fulfil all of the requirements needed, for example,The brief outlines the requirements to create both an online and print version. 

The brief specifically outlines the magazine needs to be around North London and therefore I feel the genre of Pop is hugely favoured and therefore will appeal to many people within this area. My magazine will meet the client requirements by including 'original content' while mainly focussing on the upcoming talent within the area and the rise of new Pop artists. 
I will ensure my magazine includes original content by the use of original photos and interviews by also creating my own magazine layout by editing and producing the content using photoshop. 
Lastly I will make sure that I create samples for the fonts i will be using, the cover and double page spread.
